Coming out of retirement to play poker again (hopefully)

I’ve been toying with the idea of playing poker again after spending the last week playing a few hands. The new year is less than 24 hrs away and it’s a perfect way to start out again.
These are the general ideas I wrote earlier and I’ve copied and pasted the text.

Poker journal for 2018.

Goals for the year.

To get back into poker playing low stakes and working my way up the limits. To try and play tournaments despite my heavy medication.
To only play poker sites that I have disabled the online casino so not to spunk my cash away.
To win at least $1500 before the end of 2018 and if possible earn more and maybe plan on going back to Vegas whenever I feel the time is right to return. In order to do so I have to book a flight that is no higher than £500 direct return and somehow keep my $$$$$ so I don’t have to worry about the exchange rate.
To try and play at least an hour a day everyday and see how I feel after a month and maybe play longer, again depending on my .medication and not falling asleep.

I’m going to start with less than $100 but the exact figure will be entered on day 1 which will be Jan 1st 2018.

I was thinking of attempting a new $10k bankroll challenge, but I need to make sure I have the correct head on to allow me to play poker again. It’s pretty pointless me bigging it up if I can’t manage to play any sessions at all due to the meds, so I’ve decided on just earning cash and see where it gets me.
My limit will start at 5/10c or 5/10p on a U.K. site like sky. In fact it was opening up the sky client that I decided to play a few hands and from there it’s gotten to this point. I know I can still beat the game, and without blowing my own Trumpet, I can easily beat this level. I won’t move up in limits though until I have enough buy ins, possibly no less than forty. I have no problem playing such low stakes and whilst every other poker player as an ego that forbids them playing such low limits, I see it as a great opportunity. Just winning 6 buy ins a day is a enough for a full time wage and effectively I’d be a poker pro.  But I won’t be shouting it from the tree tops.
Hopefully one of the rules is, to make sure I update this blog at least once a week. I’m also not going to use an HUD. I’m unsure if there still legal or not to use it’s been that long since I played any decent poker.
I’ll close for now but I will bring a full Bankroll update on my next entry. I’m really looking forward to this and can’t wait to get started!
